More Jobs Coming to Chattanooga!

On July 15, Volkwagen announced plans to build a $1 billion assembly plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The plant is expected to create 2,000 jobs and is expected to open in 2011. Who knows how many additional jobs will be created as suppliers and other businesses expand operations in the area but estimates are up to 9,000.  Obviously, this is great news for Chattanooga,a city already on the rise.  Mr. Stephan Jacoby is the President and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. and you can view his comments below.
